  • Sunday 11th January 2009. Stoke On Trent and District Gundog Club. Fagin was placed 1st in Junior and awarded Best of Breed under Judge Mr Derek Lade (Mantondean). He was then shortlisted to the final 8 in a full Gundog group for Best In Show. Our thanks to the judges. This is what the breed judge said about him; Mid gold boy who caught my eye straight away. Nicely made head and expression, dark eyes. Strong neck and forequarters, good front angulation on straight forearms, and tidy cat like feet. good spring of rib into short couplings and strong loins. Nicely bent stifles with muscle on both thigh and 2nd thigh. Well let down hocks, presented a balanced dog with a level topline and tailset. moved with drive and deserved his BOB.
 
  • Sunday 25th January. Coalville and District Canine Society. Fagin was placed 1st in Junior under judge Mrs Dawn Youngson (Treeveville). Our thanks to the judge. This is what the judge said about him,“Mid gold young male, masculine head with kind expression, excellnt reach of neck, level topline, well angulated, moved well. One i have always liked.”
 
  • Saturday 14th February. The Golden Retriever Club of Wales Championship Show. Fagin was placed 1st in Junior dog under judge, Mrs Liz Keene (Shinehill). Our thanks to the judge. This is what the jude said about him, “Compact and well balanced, masculine head, nice eye shape, good reach of neck into correct shoulders, level topline held on the move, strong driving movement.”
 
  • Sunday 22nd February.Southern Golden Retriever society Championship Show. Fagin was placed 1st in Junior dog under judge,Mrs Barbara Mills(Millwater).Our thanks to the judge. This is what the judge said about him;Lovely upstanding boy of good proportions, lovely head and expression. Lovely reach of neck inot well laid shoulders and equal length of upper arm, allowing his front legs to be well underneath him. Good spring of rib and level strong topline. Short in the couplings and well defined stifle. Giving his handler a hard time on the move but covers the ground with such ease.
 
  • Sunday 12th April. Birmingham and District Gundog and Terrier Club. Loola was placed 2nd in Puppy and Fagin was placed 1st in Junior and awarded Reserve Best of Breed. Our thanks to the judge, Corinne Endean (Chlodyl). This is what the judge said about Fagin,” Really liked this upstanding, balanced, mid gold dog, gentle head and expression, dark eye and pigment, good bone, strong neck, good angulation fore and aft.”
 
  • Sunday 19th April. Leominster Canine Society. Fagin was placed 1st in Junior and awarded Reserve Best of Breed. Our thanks to the judge, Mr David Coode (Warringah)
 
  • Sunday 26th April. WELKS Championship Show. Loola  made her debut at a championship show and was placed 1st in Minor Puppy Bitch and qualifies for Crufts 2010  and Midland Golden Retriever Pup of the Year. Huge thanks to judge, Mrs Sandra Birkin Green (Sansue), for a fantastic day!!!!
  • This is what the judge said about her: Sweet head and expression, good reach of neck into well placed shoulders, short coupled body, very good quarters, level topline kept on the move.

  • Monday 5th May. Banbury and District Canine Society. Loola was placed 1st in Minor Puppy. Our thanks to the judge, Mrs A McClean (Galenco).
 
  • Friday 9th May. Birmingham National Championship Show. Loola was placed 1st in Minor Puppy Bitch. Her 2nd champ show and her 2nd win!!!! Huge thanks to the judge, Mrs Heather Morss (Xanthos) . Caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring, textbook front,excellent pigment,dark eye, good neck and topline, beautiful stifles and quarters, strong hocks, correct tailset.

  • Saturday 23rd May. Bath Championship show. Loola was placed 1st in Minor Puppy Bitch and was then awarded Best Puppy Bitch. Our thanks to the judge, Mrs Sue Almey ( Arbutus) for a truly fantastic day!!
  • This is what the judge said about her:Delightful 7 month old very pretty puppy.Well balanced in profile, sweet head with dark pigmentation. Good length of neck, correct shoulder assembly, level topline with correct tailset, lovely bend of stifle, good bone and tight feet. Moved so well with reach and drive. Liked her very much.

  • Friday 5th June, Southern Counties Championship Show. Loola was placed 3rd in Minor Puppy Bitch. Our thanks to the judge, Mrs Wendy Andrews (Catcombe)
 
  • Thursday 18th June. Three Counties Championship Show. Loola was placed 2nd in Minor Puppy Bitch. Thank you to the judge, Mr Tony Hickinbottom. This is what the judge said about her, “Well made throughout with good straight front, excels in topline and tailset,correct movement both front and rear”
 
  • Saturday 27th June. Blackpool Championship Show. Loola was placed 1st in Minor Puppy Bitch and 3rd in a lovely Puppy Bitch class. Our thanks to the judge, Mrs Fiona Coward-Scholes (Rossgilde)
 
  • Saturday 11th July. East of England Championship Show. Loola was placed Reserve in Puppy Bitch, 2nd Maiden Bitch and VHC Novice Bitch. Our thanks to the judge, Mr John Clarke (Sinnhein).   Appealing with attractive head and expression, well put together with good front alignment and quality bone and feet, level topline, compact well made body and well angulated hindquarters.
 
  • Sunday 19th July. Evesham and District Open Show. Loola was placed 1st in Puppy Bitch and 1st in Junior Bitch, and awarded Best Puppy Bitch. Our thanks to the judge Mrs Gloria Gargan (Siagar)
 
  • Saturday 25th July. Leeds Championship Show. Loola was placed VHC in Puppy Bitch and Fagin was placed 1st in Yearling Dog. Our thanks to the judges, Bitches-Mrs Pat Rowark (Brekswood) and Dogs-Mr Alistair Scott (Largymore) This is what the judge said about Fagin,“A quality dog in beautiful mid gold coat, stunning head with soft expression, dark eye and good pigmentation, good reach of neck into well placed shoulders, goo depth of rib, excellent rearquarters, and well let down hocks. Moved with drive once settled, one towatch in the future.”
 
  • Saturday 1st August. National Gundog Championship Show. Loola was placed 1st Puppy Bitch, 2nd Maiden and 2nd Novice and was then awarded Best Puppy Bitch. Huge thanks to the judge, Mrs Carol Carter (Canaleigh) This is what the judge said about her, ” Lovely pale puppy of nearly 10 months, lovely soft balanced head, super pigment, good neck into balanced shoulder angulation, good depth of chest and turn of stifle, lovely balanced clean outline.”

  • Tuesday 4th August. Paignton and District Championship Show. Loola was placed 2nd in Puppy Bitch and 2nd in Novice Bitch. Fagin was placed Reserve in yearling dog. Our thanks to the judges, Dr Ron James (Bitches) and Mr Tony Coopland (Dogs)

Saturday 8th August. Bournemouth Championship Show. Loola was placed VHC in Puppy Bitch. The judge was Mrs Patricia Butterworth (Applebrook)
 
  • Wednesday 11th August, URC Championship Show. Loola was placed VHC Puppy Bitch, Reserve Maiden and VHC Novice Bitch. Our thanks to the judge Mrs Pauline Bevis.
Loola and i went off to Ireland to take part in the Munster Circuit. This is a week consisting of 6 championship shows covering beautiful Southern Ireland. Last year i took Fagin along and he was unbeaten in all of his classes. I am very proud to say that Loola followed in his footsteps and was graded Very Promising at every show and won every class.
 
  • Saturday 15th August. The All Ireland Golden Retriever Club Championship Show. Loola was placed 1st in Puppy Bitch and delighted us by being awarded, 
BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!

  • Monday 31st August. Leicester City Canine Society Open Show. Loola was placed 2nd in Puppy, 2nd in Junior, and 1st in Open. She was moved into Open as i entered a class she was too young for.  Our thanks to the judge, Miss Jennie Anderson (Dream Max)
 
  • Saturday 5th September. Rugeley and District Canine Society Open Show. Fagin was placed 1st in Post Gaduate Dog, awarded Best Dog and Best Opposite Sex. Our thanks to the judge, Mr Paul Brodie (Chadzo) This is what the judge said about him, ” Nice dark dog with good head and expression, straight front, well angulated both front and rear, level topline and tailset, straight hocks. In excellent coat, moved wel when settled.”
 
  • Sunday 6th September. City of Birmingham Championship Show. Fagin was placed 2nd in Yearling dog and Loola was placed Reserve in Puppy bitch. Our thanks to the judges, Mrs Barbara Gell (Leithfield)-Dogs and Mrs sue Brown (Ipcress)-Bitches. This is what the judge said about Fagin, “Well balanced, mid gold, very attractive masculine head, good pigment, excellent reach of neck and layback of shoulder, short coupled, strong bone, good rear angulation, very good driving movement from strong quarters.”
 
  • Saturday 12th September, Kington Horse Show and Agricultural Society Open Show. Loola was placed 2nd in Junior and 2nd in Post Graduate. She was also awarded Best Puppy In Breed and went on to win Gundog Puppy Group 2 under judge, Mrs D Bailey (Daelyb)
 
  • Saturday 19th September. The Joint Golden Retriever Club Champ Show, hosted by GRCN. Fagin was placed 1st in Yearling Dog. And Loola was placed 1st in Puppy Bitch, 1st in Novice Bitch and 2nd in Undergraduate.
 She was then awarded BEST PUPPY BITCH and further delighted us by going on to win  BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!!

This was extra special for us as these wins gave Loola the final points she needed for her Junior Warrant.  She is now qualified for Crufts for life and has gained her Stud Book Number.
 
We also send congratulations to Loolas big sister Pingla (Putjade Party Pingla at Thornywait JW) who gained her 3rd CC on the same day and is now a Show Champion!
 
This is what the judge said about Loola: Have admired this young lady from the ringside and she certainly lived up to expectations! Quality all through with well proportioned head, good pigment and kindly expression. Textbook construction. Well presented and handled to advantage. Good positive mover.
 
 
  • Sunday 20th September. Darlington Champ Show. Loola was placed 2nd in Puppy Bitch. Our thanks to th judge, Mr Fillip Johnson (Sweden) This is what the judge said about her, “A lovely quaity bitch pup,mature, lovely head and expression, excellent topline and tailset, excellent angulation front and rear and an excellent mover.”
 
  • Sunday 27th September. Eastern Counties Golden Retriever Club Championship Show. Fagin was placed 2nd in Yearling Dog. Loola was placed 1st Puppy Bitch,1st Novice bitch, 1st Debutante Bitch and 1st Undergraduate Bitch. She then went on to win…………… BEST PUPPY BITCH, BEST PUPPY IN SHOW and the RESERVE CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much to the judge, Mrs Sue Ross for the most fantastic day. And thanks to the referee Mr Roy Maynard!

This is what the judge said about Loola: Outstanding from every angle, completely filled my eye from her beautiful head and dark melting expression, excellent neck and shoulders, plenty of heartroom, washboard topline, straight neat hocks, strong well bent stifles, moved effortlessly with power and confidence combined to complete a wonderful picture of dog and handler in harmony. Not just a star for the future, she is already a gem.

  • Thursday 8th October. South Wales KA Championship Show. Loola was placed 1st in Puppy Bitch, she was then awarded BEST PUPPY BITCH, then went on to win BEST PUPPY IN BREED. Our thanks to the judge Mr Eddie Webster (Benjcroft) and the referree, Mr Phillip Green.  This is what the breed judge said about her, ” 11 months bitch of the highest quality, striking outine, super head, neck and shoulders, topline level, very well constructed rear, straight front with good bone, and feet, chest, ribbing and couplings as they should be, in well presented coat and in very good condition, has the most lovely dark eye and expression. Moved with reach and drive.”
Loola has finished her Puppy Career on a real high and we are so grateful to all the judges who have thought so highly of our precious girl. It has definately been beyond our wildest dreams!!

She then delighted and shocked me by winning the Bitch CC at just 14 months old and Best Opposite Sex in Show!!!! My sincere thanks to the judge, Mrs Lynn Anderson (Linchael) for the most amazing day!

This has to be one of the best bitches i have judged. This gorgeous girl has everything that the standard requires plus that indefinable quality called class. Most beautiful head and expression, good eye, well set ears, reachy neck, shoulder and upper arm correctly angulated, short coupled body, dead straight front, good feet, correct stifles and hocks, moved effortlessly and correctly, very well handled. She is very young but youth is not a fault, if she doesn’t gain her title i will eat my (waxed) hat!”
