- Saturday 14th January. Nuneaton and District open show. Putjade Pickpocket JW ShCM was placed 1st in Open and awarded Best of Breed under Mrs Pauline Wilson (Pearlbarn)
Sunday 19th February. The Golden Retriever Club of Wales Championship show. Putjade Pickpocket JW ShCM was placed 1st in Mid Limit dog under judge, Mr Ray Johnson.
Sunday 4th March. Southern Golden Retriever Society Championship Show. Putjade Pickpocket JW ShCM was placed 2nd in Minor Limit under judge Mrs Wendy Andrews (Catcombe)
Sunday 9th May. Golden Retriever Club of Northumbria. Putjade Peachy Keen for Lovissa was placed 1st in Veteran Bitch and then went on to win Best Veteran In Show under judge, Mrs Julie Seamons and Mr Peter Drury.
We will now have a quiet few months at home while we wait for Fagin and loola to grow new coats.
2012 has been a quiet year in the showring but a very eventful year at home. Unfortunately our wonderful Oscar has been diagnosed with an inoperable throat tumour. Our priority at the moment is to keep him comfortable. He is doing ok at the moment, 3 months after his diagnosis.
Just 4 weeks after the devastating news about Oscar, Peaches was diagnosed with a mast cell tumour on her leg. She underwent chemotherapy and removal of this and 2 further tumours. We are delighted that all is well now, wounds have healed nicely and shes doing great!
Saturday 21st July. The Golden Retriever club Championship Show. Lovissa Lily Sparkles was short listed to the last 8 in a large Minor Puppy bitch class. her litter brother, Lovissa Chance of Diamonds, owned by Louise Pickard, was placed 3rd in a lovely Minor Puppy dog class under judge, Mrs Barbara Keighley.
He has now qualified for Crufts 2013 on his first attempt at his first show! Well done Louise and Chance 🙂
Saturday 28th July. Britannia and Leek agricultural society open sow.
Lovissa Lily Sparkles was placed 1st in puppy and awarded Best Puppy in Breed and her mom, Pujade Pink Diamonds for Lovissa was placed 1st in Open Bitch and awarded Best of Breed, under judge Mrs Liz Fisher (Palizolla)
Saturday 4th August. National Gundog Championship Show. Lovissa Lily Sparkles was placed 1st in Minor Puppy Bitch and awarded Best puppy bitch. 🙂 now qualified for Crufts 2013.
Putjade Pink diamonds for Lovissa JW was placed Reserve in Limit Bitch.
Lovissa Chance of Diamonds (owned by Louise Pickard) was placed 3rd in Minor Puppy Dog. Thank you to the judges mrs June Bearman (Bearhard) and Mr David Sheilds for a super day 🙂

Sunday 2nd September .City of Birmingham Championship show. Lovissa Chance of Diamonds (owned by Louise Pickard) was placed 3rd in Minor Puppy Dog under Mr Filip Jonnson (Sweden) and Lovissa Pink Fizz (owned by Margaret and Colin Eddies) was placed Reserve in Minor Puppy Bitch under Mrs Anne Woodcock (Stanroph) .
Sunday 9th September. Richmond Championship Show. Lovissa Lily Sparkles was placed 1st in Minor Puppy Bitch and Putjade Pink Diamonds for Lovissa JW was placed 3rd in Mid Limit Bitch under judge, Mrs Gail Brodie (Chadzo)
Sunday 16th September. Darlington Championship Show. Lovissa Lily Sparkles was placed 2nd in Minor Puppy Bitch and 3rd in Puppy Bitch. Putjade Pink Diamonds for Lovissa JW was placed 3rd in Mid Limit Bitch under judge, Val Tregaskis (steval).
Lovissa Chance of Diamonds was placed 1st in Minor Puppy Dog, VHC in Puppy dog and Reserve in Maiden and Novice dog.Well done Louise and Chance 🙂

Lovissa Lily Sparkles was placed 1st in Minor Puppy bitch,2nd in Puppy bitch,2nd in Novice bitch and 2nd in Debutant bitch. Putjade Pink Diamonds for Lovissa JW was placed 2nd in Limit bitch under judge, Mr Bertil Lundgren(Sweden)
Lovissa Chance of Diamonds (owned by Louise Pickard) was placed 2nd in Minor Puppy dog, 3rd Puppy Dog , reserve Novice dog and VHC debutant dog under Mr Bob Sillence (Canina)
Unfortunately we have had to make the very difficult decision to say goodbye to our beautiful old man Oscar to prevent further suffering. I am honoured to have shared my life with such a wonderful boy. Run free my darling, we will meet again xxxxxxxx

Lovissa Lily Sparkles was placed VHC in Minor Puppy Bitch under Mrs Lynn Walker (Gloi) and Lovissa Chance of Diamonds (owned by Louise Pickard) was placed 1st in Minor Puppy dog, 3rd Puppy Dog, 1st Maiden Dog and 2nd Novice Dog under judge, Mr Dave Mannings (Gatchells)
Sunday 14th October, South Wales K A Championship Show. Lovissa Chance of Diamonds was placed 1st in Minor Puppy Dog and 2nd puppy dog under judge, Mrs Gloria Gargan (Siagar)
Wednesday 17th October Gundog Society of Wales Championship Show. Lovissa Lily Sparkles was placed 2nd in Puppy bitch, Maiden bitch and Novice bitch under judge Mrs Audrey Richardson (Darachonna) and Lovissa Chance of Diamonds was placed 1st in Minor Puppy Dog, Reserve Puppy,2nd Maiden and VHC Novice under judge, Mrs Gail Brodie (Chadzo)
Sunday 21st October. united Retriever Club Open Show. putjade Pickpocket JW ShCM was placed 1st Open Dog then awarded Best Dog,Reserve Best of Breed and Best Opposite Sex under judge, Mrs Jeannette Morrissey (Shepedor)
Sunday 4th November. Berkshire Downs and Chilterns Golden Retriever club Championship Show. Lovissa Chance of Diamonds was placed 2nd Puppy dog, 1st Junior, Novice and Undergraduate, under judge, Mrs Ann Hagger (Fairfield)

Saturday 18th November. Walsall and District Canine Society Open Show. Lovissa Lily Sparkles was placed 1st in Puppy and awarded Best Puppy in Breed under judge, Mr David Howarth.
Saturday 24th November. The Golden Retriever club Open show. Lovissa Chance of Diamonds was placed 1st in Puppy dog, Junior dog,Novice dog and Undergraduate dog. He then went on to win Best Puppy Dog and Reserve Best Puppy in Show under judge Susanna Zubair (Thornywait)
These wins gave Chance the final points he needed for his JUNIOR WARRANT :))) well done Louise and Chance!
Sunday 25th November. Sedgley and Gornal open show. Lovissa Chance of Diamonds JW was placed 1st in Puppy and Junior. he was then awarded Best Puppy in Breed and Best of Breed. Gundog puppy group 2 and Gundog group 4.
Sunday 2nd December, Midland Golden Retriever Club Championship Show. Lovissa Chance of Diamonds JW was placed 3rd in Puppy dog and Junior dog and 2nd Novice and Undergraduate, under judge, Mrs Fiona Scholes(Rossgilde)
Sunday 9th December. Chepstow and District Canine Society Open Show. Lovissa Lily Sparkles was placed 1st in Puppy and 1st in Junior, awarded Best Puppy in Breed and Gundog Puppy Group 2 under judge, Mrs Lillah Rea.
Saturday 16th December. LKA championship Show. Lovissa chance of Diamonds was placed 1st in Puppy dog, Lovissa Lily Sparkles was placed VHC in Puppy bitch and Lovissa Pink Fizz was placed 3rd in Junior bitch.
All 3 of our Loola/Thomas babies that went into the show ring have now qualified for Crufts 2013…… We are so proud :))
